Besides Endri, Shiny and Jaeden, among the others I wish would come back to play are Barrager, Cadridorn, d3sperad0, purplehaze13, music626, just to name five. Of course, it's been eons since d3 and purplehaze were online here, but they bring fond memories of the good old days.

I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday

I had forgotten about that "speech," which just fell out on the keyboard, literally, from my fingers on Jan. 18, 2008.
It was l1gnus that even sparked the idea to write something by calling for it. So I went back and found it in our forums.
For l1gnus, here it is:

The Marine Corps said I could be a Marine, and do whatever the Hell they wanted me to do, whenever they wanted, I better hurry up doing it, and die trying, if I had permission.
Two days later, on my birthday, I chose the Marines.
See, Marines are the best. Marines are elite. Marines are few, proud, and semper fidelis.
It was only natural for me to join Black Shadow Squadron.
I am humbled to follow Darkling, Picobozo and Black Viper, in reverse order. They aren't gone, but they (minus BV of course) are among the last of the orginal members of this Great squad. They are still among elite, even with less game time. I guess I couldn't imagine following them until they asked. But I am proud that have asked me lead.
I hope you all have joined Black Shadow for similar reasons to mine. I was honored to leave the Xenotech at its peak three years ago to fly alongside Lee_Mazelli, purplehaze13, music626, Ryjamsan, Tigereye, dordon, blinder, Darkling, Shiny, Cadridorn and BlackViper. I mean, honestly ... and they are just a handful of the guys who made Black Shadow the Marines of Allegiance.
Don't ever speak of United States Marines with a lowercase m, by the way. They have earned the M. Seriously. Marines take offense when people get it wrong.
I hope you can say the same about Black Shadow. I hope you joined to become the best. You must know that doesn't equate to winning every battle. Marines lost a lot of really good men that way. Just as we have. But Marines are always the best. That means they are among the elite in character.
I will expect two things from you: I will expect you to always show honor and character. Take your losses like a man. Fight your asses off. Pay attention. Have fun.
