Okay, well...I recanted my earlier statement and will maintain that. But will still say that I don't see how there has been a lack of effort within my squad or it's leadership that has impacted any of the "upper" squads. And as far as an earlier comment made by someone else "I know what @whatever has done over the past year" goes....here's what you did...you waited for a squad to disband and recruited the majority of their player base.
To be honest with you, Cable...I couldn't give a @#(! less what you, and most of this community think, but don't take SRM's struggles as a lack of effort or laziness. That is not the issue at all. You don't know that because you aren't in SRM, and have no $#@!ing way of knowing what has/does go on with the exception of what may or may not have been shared with you by the percentage of our squad that now wears your tag.
You know why you don't know? Because I don't sit around $#@!ing whining about it on the forums as I have seen so many others do. And that includes our Div. 2 winner's SL. I have done what I can do to hold this @#(! together, and still working on it with the rest of SRM.
I also don't see how SRM have ever been disrespectful to other squads because we have a low pilot count. Have we forfeited against your precious squad of vets? Have I made excuses on the forums about RL, or otherwise? No. I haven't. What I have done is entered a tag that has a history behind it, that has suffered lots of blows to the morale-o-meter as we have lost pilots, but refuses to give up. If you knew anything about the life i have had, you would see that there is a reason why I stick with it...because that is what I have done in other areas of life and have been quite successful. But to imply that because I am not as good as you that I have been disrespectful is contempt prior to investigation.
I have attemtped to apologize for my earlier comment, but tbh, I still hold strong to the fact that while you are giving sound advice, and invested a couple hrs (oh noes, not a couple hrs), you don't have a $#@!ing clue about what has gone on in the med lab and won't until you walk through the doors of said lab. Therefore, what you are saying as I relate it to SRM, are some good pointers, but your assumptions are bull@#(!.
There are no vets to recruit. And even a glimpse of skill that a newbie presents has a Sysx/XT/PK tag on within their first week of flying. Funnily enough, they tend to become pricks shortly after. So, i have been left to work with what I have.
Now, as far as the league goes...I enjoyed it to an extent, and really appreciate the efforts of the staff that organized it, but it has been poison for our squad. Having no control over who we play next to be able to focus on certain points, and scheduling to keep it challenging, but not to constantly get raped week after week for spurts at a time, is quite difficult as things stand right now. And if you are seriously suggesting that I not sign my squad up for it because it may be disrespectful to some $#@!nut like you, who generally I have no problem with, but really not liking your holier than thou attitude right now......$#@! you. I can't put it more plain than that.
We are trying to get better. It hasn't been easy. Hell, I signed up for ACS as much of a $#@!ing noob I am so that we may have some variety of commanders and not be dependent on just one or two folks. If you see some other things we could work on....dump that Sysx tag you've got there, I'll tag you up, and you can come on in and join the effort. But keep your obnoxious bull@#(! to yourself. K?
*Edit* That pretty much goes for anyone that wants to voice an opinion on our squad. Tag up and join in, and we will make it better. If not, shut the hell up.
