I apologise if anyone has mentioned it, but I recalled a bug that annoyed me since forever.

Whenever you engage autopilot, and then disengage it by either way, the throttle is set to 75%. I personally have to _always_ set it back to 100%, its especially distracting when you are using AP to direct yourself at the base, and then loose 10-20 mps because AP set the throttle at 75% after you disengage it.

These bugs haven't been fixed yet because don't have any developers interested in fixing them up. --Tigereye

The new mouse stuff feels "mushy". Is there a way to add a switch to turn the new mouse handling off, so it's back to the old (hardware?) mouse?

Thanks,

This still going on? I thought it was fixed with 215.

EDIT: Just tried it. Yeah, it still feels a bit "mushy". I tried out the mouse sensitivity controls... Setting it to 4X acceleration and somewhere between 150% and 200% (max) sensitivity gets it *close* to where it was before, for me, but it still feels a bit "off." No matter what settings you try, the response isn't as crisp as it was before; it's either over-sensitive or a bit sluggish. The acceleration doesn't feel like it works quite enough. >_> I wish it could just be back to what it was in R5...

... In fact, to be honest, I think I'd rather have mouse control back to "normal" rather than any of the (admittedly awesome) updates and improvements in R6. :P I know that may sound over-dramatic -- it's not like the game is unplayable or anything, and I'm sure I could get used to it -- but still...

EDIT 2: Also, the mouse acceleration seems to reset back to "2x" after I quit and re-start Allegiance, even if I made sure to set it to "4x".

raum, instead of posting that in every topic that surfaces that mentions R6, maybe you could start a new topic of your own to post in so you can get some help, you obviously need it.

Dual monitors causes alleg to minimize.

When running in dual monitors, the mouse stays on the primary monitor (#2 on my setup), as I click on f3 map, I noticed that the cursor also starts to appear on the second monitor. If I click while it is visible on the second monitor, alleg minimizes to the desktop. When I disable my second monitor, everything works as expected.

My setup is vanilla Win7 Enterprise N. Let me know if you need more info, I can reproduce this every time.

Thanks,
-BT

Could you add a toggle to turn off that change so that it can go back to the original behavior for those that don't want to use this new feature?

After playing around with the mouse settings some more I finally found a combo that works for me (x2 accel 110% sensitivity)... Still not quite same as before, but easily get-used-to-able. So I withdraw that I guess. :P Thanks for the awesome settings options, Imago.

I still observe the mouse accel changing from x4 to x2 on its own, though. >_> That prolly shouldn't happen.
