I appears to be very popular.I read the "newbie instructions" and it looks like it's all about "ranking up".I personally wouldn't be bothered with spending all that time to learn all the details just to go from rank# 1257 to rank #47.

If they had started when we did they would be kicking our ass. They got 1147 players online right now playing from what I can tell. We got 20
The part I dont understand is how the hell is that even a multi player game in league with Allegiance. Its not team based, its not real time and its nothing like most of the other games.
Oh well 3 more days of voting and we shall see. We need everyone to vote to have a chance

My understanding is that their admin hostaged the game until they were on the top of the voting list. They've slowed their voting now which suggests that their game reset (or whatever it had to do) and they've got something to do other than vote for themselves.
We can still pull this off for December, we just need everyone voting every day.

I looked at their thread in their forum - they were posting counts up until a 1
2 hour gap where 800 votes got added.
Their admin said
"if we get top you get a reset" whatever a reset is, but a lot of the posters seemed to think the admin was joking.
From their
12 page thread about this voting, it's obvious they have done this before to MPOGD, just like we have....

My guess is the other game held back until the very end for some reason. It may be a quiet request from the website, startegy, or simply they just got a round to it. *shrug*
With a player base 100th the size of their's what you should be thinking is how to use this in the marketing efforts. David vs Goliath. Devoted fans i.e. 10 years, community supported with dollars and time, held out own against other games 100 times are size in a popularity vote come see why. Win or lose don't flush the efforts down the toilet use them and for goodness sakes don't do something to make us look bad now. Having our name be at the top of the list for a month isn't worth it.
