Wow... There is a GIANT version of that image in the treasure trove. (I gave Adaven a ftp, so I get first dibs at looking at some of this stuff.) Giant as in... 7200 x 10800 pixels (Thing is almost 300 megs!).

I'll let Adaven post the link, when he feels there's enough on there.

Artwork people are going to have a field day. There's enough stuff in there to make something like 4 new HUDs, and what's been uploaded has barely scratched the surface.

Seriously, should've just zipped and torrented it. That will take a lot of time to spider and create very unnecessary load on the server.

It's also so easy to cut out the bottom left msn gaming zone stuff and put in a free allegiance branding and we have instant kickass poster to put up in universitys and stuff.

Could you please torrent it? I so would love to have this stuff, but don't want to use 11GB of the capacity, just out of curiosity.

Can somebody tech savvy explain somethign to me though.

How come Allegiance only loads up the enhanced textures when they are encountered in game? I'd like to use many of the enhancements from Mesial's site, but when loading the build sphere animation for the first time freezes the visuals for a second... it's just not worth it.

What the heck is going on? After they've been loaded once, there are no problems. Why not load them at launch?

Also is this something that will get fixed at a later release, so we can start to make use of the larger official textures made possible by this utterly awesome find?

I'm embarassed to admit it, but I'm a total Newb w/ respect to torrents, but I'll look into it.

And yeah, I'm an idiot for not zipping it at the very least. While I'm figuring out the torrent stuff I'll switch over to sending Andon compressed archives that he can leave compressed or extract, whichever he prefers.

by giant version, do you mean exactly the same but blown up to a greater size/the one posted already is a mini version, or the pic posted atm is just part of a much bigger picture that has loads of other scenes like in it, like an early concept art or something?

Probably the exact same image, just at greater size/resolution. I know that there are a dozen+ other copies of that same image at different sizes for things like desktop backgrounds, promotional materials, or t-shirt.
