OK, here it goes:
Don't make it inaccessible, like ACS materials and discussions are

I think you've told them enough by now.
TakingArms wrote:QUOTE (TakingArms @ Aug 9 2009, 07:15 AM) it's interesting how politics turns ordinarily funny, kind-hearted people into vicious, hateful attack mongers. Except IB, he's just always that way.
People just take stuff too seriously I think. Except IB, of course.
QUOTE Yellow has 10 players:
1 comm - decent
2 vets
4 voobs
3 newbs
Blue has 11 players:
1 comm - decent
3 vets
2 cadets
4 voobs
1 newb[/quote]
Eventually more players will join the game. If team sizes increase to 15-16 I am expecting a break down along the lines of
5 new players to yellow
1 vet
2 voobs
1 cadet
1 newb
5 new players to blue
2 vets
2 voobs
1 newb
Turning the new imbalance to
Yellow has 15 players:
1 comm - decent
3 vets
1 cadet
6 voobs
4 newbs
Blue has 16 players:
1 comm - decent
5 vets
2 cadets
6 voobs
2 newb
Which solidifies blue's formerly slight edge in pilot skill level by a decent level.
Blue's whoring then takes its psychological toll on Yellow causing the following quitting
1 vet
1 voob
to produce the new teams
Yellow has 13 players:
1 comm - decent
2 vets
1 cadet
5 voobs
4 newbs
Blue has 16 players:
1 comm - decent
5 vets
2 cadets
6 voobs
2 newb
The resultant disparity in pilot skill allows blue to win regardless of whatever brilliance the yellow commander displays or incompetence the blue commander displays
"Dang it I'm a guy! The Lindy Hop is a dance named after the great aviator Charles Lindbergh and his "hop" over the Atlantic."
I think the interesting way to address this one is "how to win as yellow".
If you think about it that way, I agree with Grimm for once. Bet everything on bombers, boot everyone not on the bomb run, proceed to enemy expansion.
If this results in either the destruction of blue's expansion or a stalemate, use the time to get some tac up and keep bombing while killing the enemy miners yourself.
If you're still alive, get sbs and win.
Maybe 20% odds of success. Most likely blue will rape your initial bomb run, camp your sup, and wait for the resign.
get 5 miners and tower/caltrop every aleph twice (as giga)

What happens next? Yellow is $#@!ed. I'd start by posting a #resign, it fails 5-2 and all three newbies abstain. Blue whores the @#(! out of yellow but the Si mine keeps cranking. The retard comm who rushed spec mines gets mutinied and suddenly all the stackers on NOAT start jumping on to yellow. 15 minutes later galvs are up and yellow galvs blue back to two sectors. Stack gets bigger as blue players quit out of frustration. Yellow takes the map by spamming teles and two more Si mines get built. Blue's HTTs keep getting spotted and killed. Once TP2 and figbees are up, GG blue.
