If you want to play a cheese v. cheese match, get some friends and play on RPS. I think most people would be happier to see less cheese, rather than more.

IC, for the most part, is fine... in fact i think if you switch the IC enh figs to adv fig style gunmounts their sup would be perked well enough.

their tac is good, sure they have a sig hit, but they got 1.3 energy! (or 1.2 i dont remember)

and of course their exp is great...

perhaps reimplementing the 2min con build speed is enough to push IC back into cheese? /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />

IC is cheese, the problem you see with it in most games is that people pussy foot around with it. I'd repost my explanation on how to comm it, but I think thal would probebly delete it again /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

Too bad, it was a damn good comparison. Once people realize the mentality you need, IC becomes much easier to win with.

The thing is Terra, I like Noir's idea of keeping factions unique rather than nerfing everything to help a certain faction, perking IC rather than nerfing other factions seems a lot more tasteful.

I do like Camaro's idea of improving Enh Fig mounts, that would really help...and the energy bonus is hardly enough to warrant such a massive sig nerf...this affects HTTs, I know they're meant to be pushed in with Hvy Ints and a con but there are somethings that player-on-player you just can't whore to death, like Stangs or somesuch...not having any "powwa" tech (IE cheese) IC can't just destroy 'em, and the huge sig nerf eliminates stealthy HTT'ing with a few well placed probes/bases. So basically IC Exp only has one way to win because the stealth method is simply too hard to pull off (and it can't whore everything...either a nerf to cheese, Stangs, or a perk against stuff like Rix Ints). Plus with IC econ it's hard to get XRM2 Hvy Bommas with the toys.

I suppose the Missile Damage bonus is enough for SBs and SFs though.

And let's face it, IC Exp is much more preferred than IC Sup or Tac...I think I can get a general consensus about this...players don't mind going any techpath with other factions, if you go IC Sup a lot of players will groan and cringe.

no crono, IC is ment to be brute force, therfor i think the sig nerf should remain.

IC sup is among the best in the game, why? because you buy galvs and theres nothing your enemies team can do with them.

But why does noone go IC sup? well, in other cores, IC figs gunmounts plain suck, 2 guns are useful but the 3rd is hit and miss at best, now Noir changed the gumounts on the adv figs as best i can tell, so putting those gunmounts on the enh fighter would encourage more people to go supremacy since the adv figs gunmounts are actually useable.

and crono... crono... 20% energy bonus is huge, thats 20% extra firing time on that enemy miner. thats such a huge benefit!

the final problem i see, is that IC is supposed to be the de facto military faction. The baddest, toughest ints around. Now, since .9 is supposed to be the base hull value, their .95 makes them strong, BUT you have other factions running around with 1 hull (GT, TF) both of these ints represents a very serious threat to the IC int.

how is this situation rectified? (not that it needs to be) but you could increase the IC int hull to 790, which after the hull nerf would bring the hull value to 750, which is standard hull for an int. alternatively you could nerf the hulls of GT and TF.

anyways i dont think IC is particularly broken, but it is out cheesed. most of these ideas im sure arent worth the space they take up, but maybe some are.
