This is a great example of a pilot not doing the right thing.
His oil pressure was "wavering". That was enough for him to declare an emergency, turn directly to the field and land. If he is IMC, then he should still do the same and get vectors for the approach. He wasted precious time and endangered lives by NOT taking immediate action.

Seeing some of the videos I have deep respect for the brave pilots which keeps their head cool. There is a video were you hear the pilot wearing an oxygen mask completing a checklist, and all the radio chatter. I would wet my pants if I was flying
