make command-wins earn more moneys. that way commanders would have the most bitchin-looking ships, and other players would actually start fighting over the command chair again.
!!!
So,make the good comms more powerful so no one else will want to comm....

Wow all the old timers are just running out of the woodwork for this.

Let me just say, as an avid gamer. This is a success all around. Alleg is going nowhere, as it hasn't for this long. Let's say we want to make this MORE successful, though. What does that look like? I'll tell you.

Unlockable content.
Player-created squads at will.
A wiki much like that of Minecraft's.
Dangling a free space fighting game in front of Star Citizen/NMS players.
Eliminating as much as possible the learning cliff.

When I get a gaming rig I'll be back. And I'll do what I do best: command in a @#(!ty way.

it won't make them more powerful, it will just let them have cool-looking ships (that's what purchasable skins are). new commanders will have incentive to learn the trade!

Just coming out of the woodwork because I came across my old joystick and it reminded me of my teenage years playing this game... Very exciting to see steam in the near future along with profits and hopefully a growing userbase. I think I'll just have to install and see how different the game is these days.
