Shame the monkey monkey sign up thread has disappeared from view. It had some awesome in IIRC.

Wonder if an admin can move it somewhere visible.....
RIP MrChaos
I remember making this video in 2011, when people started leaving allegiance.
I thought in a light hearted way mrC could save allegiance. He tried after this, but got to frustrated and gave up on the miracle

I've been attempting to concoct something a little more meaningful than brief, informative posts, yet every time I get anywhere close, the old grey matter dedicated to long-winded ramblings is instantly paralysed by a plethora - nae, a flood - of memories of events, conversations, personality traits, references to titty bars....
Where do you even $#@!ing start?
For all the times he referred to the insistance on carrying though obvious not-seeing-the-woods-for-the-trees mistakes as "having a depressed skull fracture"... I appear now to have contracted a depressed skull fracture! God damn it!

That is a mental picture I could have done without. D:Sgt_BakerII wrote:QUOTE (Sgt_BakerII @ Jan 16 2016, 09:13 AM) He was found in bed on Jan 5th. It's a fair bet to assume that MrC went to sleep and never woke up.
Holy @#(! why am I the second non-MrChaos person in this list. I need to stop reading this thread now. PLEASE SEND HELP.Blacksun94 wrote:QUOTE (Blacksun94 @ Jan 16 2016, 12:19 PM) http://www.freeallegiance.org/forums/index...ey+monkey\

Wow I am shocked with this news. A very sad day indeed.
MrC always made me guffaw at his posts, such a witty person and much loved by all.
I had many discussions with him over the years in-game and/or on TS when he used to play.
One of the Allegiance people I truly wish I could have met.
I will be raising a beer or three in your honour tonight.
You will be sorely missed Mrchaos, this place will never be the same.
Much Love & Respect.
May you rest in peace.

He always spoke really highly of his family during the 10 years I knew him.lexaal wrote:QUOTE (lexaal @ Jan 16 2016, 10:21 AM) :-(.
I'm not sure who he is but i believe we had personal contact during his time at Fiat/Chrysler.
My thoughts and prayers go to his family.
I'd tell him about my upbringing and it would occasionally move him to great anger, wishing he could have gone back in time and given young me a hug like an older brother would.
He couldn't imagine how parents could be anything OTHER than like his, who were excellent to him almost all of the time, and me relaying stories of my childhood made him appreciate his parents even more.
He once said "Can we continue this chat in a few minutes? I wanna call my dad and tell him I love him and that I appreciate everything he did for me".
And when his son once ran off to spend time with said son's mother? He took it in a stride. "Me boy" was always welcome if he wanted to come back, and he did. He would regularly cut me off on phone calls to go spend time with his son.
A model human being by any accounting I could make.

Some of those MathLab discussions about the science of ranking while a certain someone was going on about another system would make for some amusingfrustrated-yet-funny rants.
I'm going to have to see if I can yank the hard drive out of my old unbootable laptop from 10 years ago, just to yank the IRC logs off of it.
I'll see what I can do on Monday.

I still don't know what a "Banana Obsessive" is, but I'll dig up my joystick and fire up the old Lenovo T61 just to patch, log in, and create said hider.Blacksun94 wrote:QUOTE (Blacksun94 @ Jan 16 2016, 06:19 AM) I created a squad in Mr Chaos's name.
I will add others according to this post.
http://www.freeallegiance.org/forums/index...ey+monkey\
THIS SQUAD WILL REMAIN IN EXISTENCE FOR AS LONG AS ALLEGIANCE LIVES!
Mr Chaos has been our best member, i feel that this, plus a memorial game every January 1st are the right way of honouring him.
Please create a hider with the nickname that MR C gave you.
as an example i'll use ^Noirsol@LMT.
I wish my 1000th post would have been made in a much happier occasion.......
sigh ):
How do I apply for squad membership?
