Ints should have a maximum range to own a adjacent sector, not to go around the map.

The fuel was nerfed too much. The problem with XC changes, is they were made a certain value, and then rarely refined before the next set of changes was made. Reducing effective int range from being able to boost 2 sectors out on miner o, and 2 back gives a reason to get the superior miner o techs - tac and sup, for their range and damage. Ints can still intercept, still the best dogfighters. Get a sup for boost2 with the yield ga miners you can easily defend. However, I think the fuel capacity change should maybe be 10% instead.

We are not really talking about the same thing, but anyway.. let me ask you this: if no miner had less capacity than before (including Giga, which would have been the only one), that should alleviate your concern, correct?

The thing about the fuel change is it means if I go on miner o in a pu game I'm guaranteed a 5 min walk home either in a fuel less int or a pod. So I just stopped going miner o and sit in base and d whore which is boring as $#@!.

I don't really care about the balance so much but when you make it so dull to play the game I'm not happy.

Well, if returing to base is an issue, usually it's a good thing to be on the prowl with a scout anyway, and you should be able to pod yourself on a rock and get that quick pu to base.

Sidenote; Spunky, the ramming of rocks is pretty much custom for quick pickups, can't we simply allow an ejection on single pilot craft?

Maybe...are you suggesting that you will make it so a Giga miner can suck a full 9k from 1 rock without me having to order the miner in anyway what so ever but it will mine slow as well and have paper thin hull??

What we were thinking is:

If a faction had a capacity nerf previously, replace it with a lesser magnitude efficiency nerf (since efficiency is more significant than capacity) and a significant mining speed nerf.
(IC, Dreg, TF, Belters, Omicron)

If a faction had a capacity bonus previously, replace it with a lesser magnitude efficiency bonus and a significant mining speed bonus. (Giga)

If a faction had neither a capacity bonus or a nerf, leave it alone, no changes.
(BIOS, Rix, GT)

So Giga is in a unique position as the only capacity bonus faction that would be affected in the way you suggested. We could leave Giga capacity alone, don't add any efficiency bonus and maybe add a small speed bonus.
