Well in calculus, you generally leave degrees behind. I mean, imagine trying to evaluate from 0 to 360. Instead, 0 to 2pi makes so much more sense.

Are you arguing about which unit is better...? Isn't that like arguing is it better to walk 10 miles or 16 kilometers?

10 miles are only 0.58% (93.4 m or 306' 7'') longer than 16 km... :P

After walking 10 miles I'll be tired enough that the 0.58% gap will be welcome.

No no! This needs to develop into a discussion of weather the metric system or the inch-pound system is better.

Personaly I am convinced that the metric system makes no sense what so ever and I am prepared to back it by quoting one of my heroes:

"You've never heard of the Millennium Falcon?…It's the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs."
―Han Solo

From this we can clearly see that a parsec is a measure of time and not of distance as the metric system foolishly claims!

Ah, but the word of God is that the point of the statement is that the Falcon's navigational systems are so good that it can take a shorter route and therefore do it quicker. Also is a parsec a SI unit anyway? I can't remember whether Degrees or Radians or both are standard SI units (Parsec being parallax second of arc iirc).
