So you would like:
- Your own stats page with achievements & monthly leaderboard ranks.

That's very possible using the information provided in the leaderboard table, only thing we would lack is information about every game and "achievements"...unless we create an app to begin listening on the allegiance client ports and learning what the packets mean, I'd assume that would work and then you could have every single piece of information you could ever want. But it'd take a long time.

i would like a community wide solution by the help of anyone who wants to help. Listening to client ports irrelevant, all necessary data is already stored.

If your still interested go see Bard, the Zone Leader for software development for Allegiance. He can usually be found on the #rollingthunder IRC channel, maybe send him a pm when you have ten posts, and that forum feature is enabled, if there is an email in his profile you could do that too, or even make a post in the development section.

Now you can do one of two ways. Pick up your marbles and leave, or start fresh with the community and work with a group that is more then a decade old. Im not sure how I feel after how you began here, and I'd usually be one of those saying get of Arnaria's $#@!ing back. It was the money grab right out of the gate... well a couple of things other too tbt that were awful shakey to me.

This all happen in a blink of an eye and you should be Golden if you just put a throttle on it, and stop forgetting your not the only person with a functioning brain who cares about the game. Fyi Ive never purposely flamed, or trolled you once. The last post might have been firm but I was being clever to make a point. *shrug* That was my intention anyway.

Both of us would love to see something we spent gobs of time on get finished in full. A whole new group needs to do it now since all those involved early days are burnt out... well at least I am now. Can't work as an effective team member if you are going to get impatient bringing forward your experience and insights. If YOU want to talk about the details, concerns, possible issues some day, from my perspective... *sigh* Im not sure if even that is a good idea anymore. Best of luck to you.

MrC, as a result of yours and others suspicion of me using advertising on my websites for personal gain it has been removed (a couple of days ago). I hope that puts you at ease.

Well this does at least prove I can do something and have some dev skills and technical knowledge, so if anyone ever needs me I'd be happy to answer via PM.

Thank you for your advice MrC, I don't believe I'm the only person here with a functioning brain but obviously as I'm fresh talent (or just...fresh) in the community it's difficult to know where to pickup and start. I wanted to make an impact and I have, for good or bad. I'll continue to develop LiveStat off and on for the few who liked it and keep an open ear for anywhere I can jump in and contribute to the community.

Others have made a way worse first impression, and come out perfectly fine in the community. You will be fine.

Just a little something for you to think about, Arnaria. I'm not telling you to not develop the program, but to think about if it really is a good idea.

1. What will be the purpose of my program/application?

2. Is there another program that performs the same/similar task to the program I plan to develop?

3. If so, then how will my program be superior to the other program(s)?

In this case, you have to think:

What does LiveStat have that will attract people to use it instead of the leaderboard?

What are the advantages of LiveStat?

What are the disadvantages of LiveStat?

So think about these things Arnaria and tell me what you think. Oh, and does anyone think that it can be integrated within the website? After all, it is a Java file.

True it probably does and I do apologize.

Edit: @DarkWhisper don't worry I don't mean actively work and break-my-back over it. There's a small market of stat-whores who might like it, that's it. And as for integrating it into the website it can be done, though I'd have to do some more coding because at the moment it relies on two other jar files as libraries.

as long as you limit your programming to non nefarious purposes, then just do it for the practice and the love of programming.

suggestion: drop google analytics into the site to see how many people / what browsers they are using, etc.
