We made a silly mistake which you fully exploited leading to a solid victory. Had the mistake not occurred, you would have had to work for the win much harder. You still might have won, but maybe not. That is all. GG

Thanks Norgonq. Your 'but maybe not' is probably a bit too high praise for us, as I think GB was an underdog in the matchup. I would say 'but probably not'

Anyway, I don't like the image of myself that arises from this thread, so I conclude my activity here.

Oh, I am not offended at all Zman. I just want to make sure that my squaddies aren't being less than sporty about the match. You guys won the game. Let me point out that I wasn't there, but in SRM we try to refrain from 'ZOMG! YOU GUYS SHOULDVE NEVER WON THAT MATCH!" or sit around making excuses.

Now I may have been a little harsh in a post I made in our private forums because as I admitted earlier, I was not at the game due to RL (not stupid ass football) and I have not read this entire thread. I just got the impression from some of the responses of non SRM in later posts of this thread that maybe some of our members are being pissy. That is less than tolerable in my book. Therefore I made that clear on our forums.

When we lose a match, GG should be about all that is said. If we deserved the win, but didn't achieve it, it is still our faults, not that of the other team, and excuses mean nothing.

I would express it different....

It was a very dramatic interresting game against you... as usual. TY srm and we hope we can battle against each other soon.
