ASGS Update
I was caught in the loop and double clicking on ASGS updates didn't work, so I did what kofi said. It updated, but now it says "connectivity failure, check your internet connection". Well, obviously my internet connection is working fine- so whats the issue?
EDIT: fixed. I also tried papsmears method by changing compatability- I just changed it back to what I had before, presto. Whooooo! I was afraid I would have to reinstall.

So, this last update didn't go quite as smoothly as it should have. It fixed a few things, but broke a few others - namely the AutoUpdater.
When the latest update was pushed a few days ago, it also downloaded a new autoupdater. Unfortunately, there was a small bug in the new updater that was the cause of the updating problems. Pook took a look at the code and fixed it, and is about to send me a new build which will fix the autoupdate issues.
But, since it's the autoupdater that's bugged, sending out this fix will be tough.
When the update is pushed later this evening, the current ASGS won't be able to launch the update properly.
However, it should update fine if you doubleclick directly on ASGSUpdate.exe in your installation folder.
Sorry this happened, but you have to kind of appreciate the irony of this situation. Gotta manually download an update to fix a bug in the autoupdater.

The Allegiance community currently hates their sysadmin because he is doing: [Too Much] [____________|] [Too Little]

im not seeing it. ASGSupdate.exe is where?
EDIT: Ah, you have to download it from the website, unzip and replace the files, then run asgsupdate. Because i have alpha graphics version i need to replace allegiance.exe after it runs. hey it works!

Update (automatically) just returns to build 205
Repair/fix critical files from help menu returns to build 205
directly running ASGSUpdate.exe returns to build 205..
No Aleg tonight it seems...
Sigh, I guess a reinstall is in order...dam!
edit: full reinstall takes it to build 210..so that is the only thing that worked..well..for me anyway..
