Ranger wasn't out of the ordinary from what I recall. I remember reading some IRC chat logs from a meeting between the players & the MS dev team that went something like *I know this isn't word for word when some clever type posts the actual log here*

I have memories of verbal abuse that I received as a newbie etched into my mind, still, now, eight years on. VerbalGynt is the one that really sticks in my mind. But VistaMista, Nak, EvanTaylor, Anxious_Boar, Shenron, _SRM_Devildog, naaasty_one amongst others, are all people that would last < 1 month if they were to begin playing as newbies today.

I miss them all, and their attitude. They brought a colour to the game that is missing today. Some of them were just on a short fuse, others were likeable loudmouths, others still just flat out weren't nice people, but the game is missing a little seasoning without them.

Cheerful_Wish / VistaMista grudge match anyone? How about a NakPPI / Shenron head to head, to decide who really is the God of the Rix?

I found a post that I saved to my HD when Valor accused me of being guns22 because I used more than one nick.

I so wish I had the @Alleg chat log held after and during that chat, I lost it over the years. It was interesting as we (@Allegs) had a separate chat going at the same time.

I really miss naasty. I remember that the guy only did 2 things in his life: drinking in a pub and playing allegiance

i remember one huge game (those big saturday night games). bombarta grabs a bomber,
and proceeds to tear a path of destruction from our home all the way to the
enemy garrison. people had GS's nans,huge armada of ships.
funny thing is back then, they all let you know on (ALL) chat,
that they were kicking your ass. i remember thinking this is the coolest freakin game.

Nope. Evan still plays today from Africa and is actually in XT
