Damn!
Kristi, I fervently hope that you come through during this time, as it is never easy to deal with this sort of loss. To let you know, I and many of us will be here if you need someone to talk to, and believe it or not, we feel your pain.
my sympathies are with you,
Jay

Kristi, I am so sorry. Optimus was a great guy and loved by all. Too many people are taken from us before their time. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Post a favorite charity of his that those of thus that can might donate to.
neotoxin, I would caution against a moment of in game silence however. While a very noble gesture, some one is bound to break it out of either ignorance (they just joined) or stupidity. It may go off without a hitch but it may end up in a shouting match.
Best to post your thoughts of good will.
It's possible, but when we had the moment of silence in the memorial game for Titty_baby that Agri organized we had a full minute of nobody typing. It worked out well.

When I hear this saddening news a few hours ago, we did have a short moment of silence, and all present were sadden that a fellow enthusiast is no longer with us.
May his proverbial pod find peace.

Kristi,
No matter what anybody says, there are no words that can express the sorrow and sympathy we have over your loss. The rule for dealing with a major loss like this is to take 90 days to morn. Yeah, the pain will be there a lot longer, and it will get better with time.
For you and your family, all we can do is pray for you and let you know that we are here for you. Sean will be missed, that's for sure. But our loss is nothing compared to yours.
For the rest of the Allegiance community members, would it be possible for a donation system be set up? A way that we can help provide financial support for Kristi and family? Maybe not a long term thing, but something to help with the urgent needs? Just a thought.

neotoxin wrote:QUOTE (neotoxin @ Jun 23 2008, 07:03 PM) How about this Saturday, for whatever event that was going on, we have a minute of silence in-game to honor his memory?
It might work better if it's during the SGs on Sunday. That would keep everyone on the same page and prevent new people from joining at the worst possible time. For those that don't have SG's, could they just join the lobby for that time, then leave?
Just a suggestion.

I liked this man a lot , he is one of those whom i respected , kind hearted .
I remember the time i saw DaWife on yellow ( with no one else ) and Opti was on Blue ( with no one else) , he told me:QUOTE Thats my wife's account i logged in with it coz i wanted to try something out , feel free to join her if you want to .[/quote]
Then i said wow this kind man is DaWife's husband.
RIP , and may God bless your soul Opti , we are all with you Kristi .
