Endless "nice" days eh?
Come back and tell us how nice it is when its 115'F in the shade...
Somehow I think someone will be hiding inside durring those days, just like us when its -30'F/C execpt well.. different...
At least we can add a few layers when its cold, when its hot and your naked already its pretty difficult (hard?) to get anymore clothes off...

If Nanaimo is in the US NW, Calgary has to be pretty close too no?
With the loonie in the $1.10 range we could probably afford to come visit too...

Sorry Cow you spotted troll you /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

San Diego has one of the most temperate climates in the world and Detroit has colder and HOTTER weather. 115F hasn't happened where I live in a month of Sundays. It's an observation not a statement of superiority /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> .

Indeed. From what I remember of the stats on SD, average winter temp is 65F, average summer temp is 75F. Never hot never cold and something approaching 300 days of sunshine. (Rather boring, if you ask me.) /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

Since I make a living educating people on how to properly and comfortably heat their spaces, it wouldn't do to be from a warm climate. /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />

MrK lives in the 'Frisco area, doesn't he? "The coldest winter I spent was a summer in San Fransisco." - Samuel Clements (I believe). Doesn't really strike me as a solution to the cold problem. /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />

"Nastygoo"? Assuming that's a reference to me, Pappy-poo...

No, not a displaced Brit, but a displaced refugee from Montreal (I left in the Rene Levesque era - which makes me a political refugee, Linguistics Branch). /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
