Yup, I also note down the reason why I don't fly for them. When it gets a bit longer I'm going to post a "How to $#@! up your team's chances of winning" thread.

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.

I think the mutiny feature could make comms less likely to experiment with new strategys. The game gets somewhat boring when comms use he same old factions and tech paths. It seems like when a comm tries something different, there are always a few ppl (vets mostly) that bitch up a storm AFTER the strategy fails. As a somewhat new player, I applaud the comm that experiments even if they usually fail

Whats wrong with saying Hint"s Am I mising something?

Frag your wrong period. He booted you and someone else I assume. Hes rite as com. You sign on with your other nick and Muntiny and boot him because you felt he was hurting his team? How by booting you and the other? Well! IT WAS HIS TEAM! He is com! he has the rite to do almost anything the pilots under him will follow! when that changes the TEAM will resign or better yet LEAVE! WE all have freedom! you can play under the com you start with or you can resign or leave I vote that if you are unhappy with your com and you ask for Resign and it fails you should automaticly be booted yourself. How bout that?

Unless he was doing something so stupid that it gave his team no chance of wining then he did nothing wrong. I was in a game last nite. Vet comes in looks around we lose our sup! boob he calls for resign I boot him asap. 3 minutes later I have new sup up. His resign vote went 1 for 8 agaisnt. The TEAM wanting the come back. Whats funny is we got their sup about 5 minutes b4 that. I wish they had resign but a Fellow @BSer knows how to command and his team held tight and they ended up wining because they got a spare com and I couldnt get my vets or noobs to bomb. My vets(not All) were to busy whoring his miners or defending from thier bomb runs!

Stop ruining our games cause you dont think we have a chance! Some of us like the comebacks. The back and forth all most vets want is a sure thing get adv tech up and let them whore! Thats all they want!

And you wonder why the COMMAND POOL is low! Who wants to puit up with the betting coms take if they try it thier way. More vets should concentrate on thier JOB in the game and let the COM do HIS! HIS WAY!!

I'm not out for blood, and wasn't going to bring any one's name into this. I was just simply looking for a concensous on if the move was right or wrong. The community seems somewhat devided, but in the end Black Viper is right. I'd rather the comm's have their freedom to do as they see fit.

Ironicly, the new mutiny feature may become a new community enforced justice.

madpeople is wondering...

frag says he booted doobie because doobie was going to make the team loose.. ergo, frag wanted to win, and fully intended to lead the team to victory, so he proposed a resign...
and doobie is annoyed that he was about to get HTTs and then come back but got removed before he could
