Eh, I bit the bullet and registered for the program. I hope that it will help me not suck (as much).

Well, not to disappoint you, but if I understand it right, the @Cadet program won't go over much of anything on commanding.
However, they do have the ACS (Advanced Command School) program after you finish @Cadet.
