Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.

The simple round reticle, that is there at all times, until you are in range makes it difficult to knwo whether I am in range or not. Using the reticles from mesial I can stay on target, and within range without having to take my eys off the center of hte screen.
