Who said it was XT? XT is cool, and I think it says a lot about the caliber of those who were in SRM that so many got picked up by them /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Ah well, back to polishing my (3) - think Pook can get rid of it for me?

SRMs name is NOT changing and as always if a member acts like an asshat they get the boot ..... regardless of rank!

If not too rude....

Did the dust settle? You SRM guys are still up and running? You still playing SqGames?

I would hate to see SRM quitting. Always a pleasure to play against you lot /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

does anyone really see SRM liveing on with all of it's strongest players gone? is it really even SRM anymore then? i think not. /glare.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":glare:" border="0" alt="glare.gif" />

Blake, you know I love you like a brother but I want you to re-read what you wrote for just a second.

You were there.

You were there when SRM was just being re-built
You were there when SRM was having a hard enough time keeping the headcount above the minimum 10
You were THERE when I needed someone to help out with a CS when the squad again grew from humble beginnings (as it did in the beginning)
You were there when we played SM's even though we were losing.
You were there for our first win!

And you say that without our top pilots you can't see SRM making it?!?

SRM CREATED many of it's top pilots. People who, without guidence (and not just in-game) would have quit the game long before their first week was over, people who have gone on to be respected members of the community.

I have said it publicly before and I will say it again.

SRM is not a gamer squad.

SRM is a group of folks who like to get together and play Allegiance, but we also like to chat on the phone, run paintball on occasion, go out for drinks, meet up with members from other squads and make off the wall jokes.

SRM is also a squad for people who understand that while drama is sometimes unavoidable, that doesn't mean that we need to play into it (despite recent activities to the contrary)

And you don't think that SRM can survive without it's key pilots?

I'm sorry that you're getting the brunt of this Blake but that was perhaps the most offensive thing I've ever heard regarding the squad that Snake, Rat and Mouse built.

SRM will do what is best for SRM.

If a few, or even many of the pilots want to leave then they have that right and no-one is going to stop them.

I would like to personally thank everyone from other squads who have taken time to e-mail or call me recently. Your show of support is appreciated and just shows how very much this community has grown over the years.

Blake, if you hate me for what I just said, I'm sorry, but you were the last person I would have ever thought to make a comment like that and it cuts me pretty deep.

Mort, you know i bleed SRM, i want what's in it's best interest.

I've lost sight of the light at the end of the tunnel and seem to be stumbleing in darkness.

I do feel all hope is lost. It doesn't feel to me like the SRM Phenix will rise again.

that is the way the CS felt, and all of us (CS) felt SRM needs to die before it can be gloriously resirected again.

i tried and was unable to turn my back on SRM as long as it lives, i just don't know if i can stand by while it slowly dies.

those are my feelings and you will always be my SRM bother Mort and i'm sorry i hurt you.

fixed:
