You wont get multi processor support in the regular Win XP Home, only in Prof. Dual-Core however is supported.
To answer your question, cowtown, there is no network tab in my vista either.

Windows XP Home supports multi-core (2+ CPU cores on one chip), but not dual- and quad-processor configurations (mainboard with 2 or 4 CPUs).

Nope... Does a DAU know the difference between dual/quad-core and a multi processer configuration?

XP Pro only supports upto two physical CPUs. That means dual-dual-cores are supported. I am not sure about dual-quad-cores.

So, as i was writing the above I was 'backuping' from a partition that was to be deleted to a partition that was to be formatted... Missdropped files to a wrong window (I was going to put them on company server...). Noticed my mistake when I attempted to dl them back... I had more or less up to date backups of everything there EXCEPT of 7 apps written for my Java EE course (class starts in 18h...). There is no limit to how stupid can one get at times...

Apart from that little personal tragedy, Alleg works perfectly with Vista Ultimate 32 bit for me. I even get better fps than under XP (yeah, woot!).

There are programs that can pull files from across a formet. I Use GetDataBack by Runtime software. Works like a dream.
Apparently a California "cabin" is any place more than 4 blocks from a McDonalds.

Yes. But once you write data on a wiped partition, you won't get much data back (whatever data that used to reside in the sectors where you wrote new data to, is lost for good).

I read all posts related to this topic and allegiance seems to be working fine on vista business and ultimate 32 bit but how about home premium 32 bit?...I have that kind of OS and having difficulty logging onto a server. By the looks of things it isnt the OS but allegiance is just having problem working with some OS. Any solutions to these yet?
