This is $#@!ing ludicrous. So their spare time (much of which for those people is spent on behind the scenes work around alleg) should be spent playing crappy PUGs? How about you shut the $#@! up instead. Its bad enough you attack the core team in the cadet forums, or that you can't even check your facts before doing so.

Edit: Keep in mind for that exact group of people a lot of their forum posts are from zones they spend time in. FAZ, enforcement, cadet, CC, helpline, admin reqs, the OC, etc.

Here's a suggestion: Why don't you do something useful for this community first. Then you can try to bitch about the people who already do so on a regular basis.
You've got it backwards Xere, Lexaal is saying that the tards who don't contribute should play 1 PUG per post and the people who do stuff like ZLs, mods etc. get to post for free. Nice idea but the community is one of the most important aspects of the game so limiting forum activity might not be a good thing.

Hmm my mistake then. I stand by my points though. A lot of time is spent improving things in this community that people take for granted.

Want proof? Go try starting a game on Solap.

I'm not asking for Solap back. I'm saying that its one of the things people took for granted and a lot of time went into that. Just as a lot of time goes into current projects around the community.

Please don't send a laser monkey to steal my pants MrC.

#general insult.
A language mistake, obvious for me. Edited now. Maybe you noticed in the CC-forum that some of the loudest don't play this game very often.
The one post per PUG was satirical but we should not forget that this is a forum for a computer game.

Maybe you didn't see that ironic part of the post in the hidden parts of the cadet forum.. strange that you still remember it altough I posted it like three weeks ago, and you still are angry. I am sorry for that. ->The CC-team is doing a good work. :iluv:

My (too-loud) negative critics on the bios change is combined with my (not-loud-enough-expressed) positive opinion about the sy and htt changes, and many other small tweaks.

Translation problems is all....

To be honest a thing people can do right now to improve people is push those voobs you see into CDT II.

You can be squadded, or not, just join. We have all new material so people should feel free to retake CDT :)

Make AFS and Cadet into CDT I and II again (even nominally) or even try and combine it into one programme, where you have a DIY bit for beginners and once they feel comfortable, they can wait for the next "session" to start and complete Cadet as a whole.

Funnel all of them into finishing the whole thing and you'll see an increase in what is currently "Cadet" numbers.

Atm people are just coasting through AFS, thinking they know how to handle things when they come out and not bothering with Cadet (or just fading into AFKness).

(Preface all the above with IMHOs.)

I thought AFS was the DIY bit and Cadet was the thing to do once they were comfortable?

Correct, except Cadet is not compulsory for AFS graduates, which is what I am proposing.

no pls dont. there's a vast difference between teaching someone how to map controls and how to kill a miner with a scout. having students with such differences in skills in one session will make it very very boring for some and very very confusing for others.
