In a few years his children might put dad into a luxurious retirement home, where he can drool, reciting memories how great he was. I feel confident his money will be well spend by the family.

Wouldn't it be great if like, a third of the Republican Party just sort of jumped aboard this hype train and was like "yup you're right this president is pretty $#@!ed up let's support the mueller investigation and act like a co-equal branch of government whose job it is to put a $#@!ing stop to this bull@#(!."
Instead it's just a bunch of chicken@#(! rich-ass old folks who are for some reason TERRIFIED that their legacy will be one of tacit trump support, but not so terrified that they actually do anything about it.

Isn't gouvernment to 95% shut down anyway during christmas to new year and those who remain are super important and therefore not affected by gouvernment shutdown?

My friend has several projects she's working on that might actually get ruined. An entire year's worth of careful work with the USDA that just goes poof in a little fit of frightened fathead.
