I just ordered parts for a new gaming PC and I'll be playing this either next weekend or the following weekend

I'll also be re-playing Deus Ex:HR on maximum detail max res instead of lowest detail and 600x800 :/

also BF3 on ultra

and skyrim maxed out

and WoW maxed out

Sheff, if you don't mind playing on a PvP server please make your character on Daragon Trail and go Republic =D I'll roll a smuggler and level with you because I want a healer build (my Jedi Knight is awesome but there is a significant lack of healers for groups). If you don't want PvP (I have yet to have a PvP encounter, although I'm still in segregated areas where there are no Sith), roll on Darth Sion and go Sith (I made my Bounty Hunter there and will, again, level him with you)! I need buddies...

that video card is insane. I have an AMD Radeon HD 6870 2gb and it plays all the games you listed at max settings at around 35-60fps, which to my eye is extremely playable. You'll be playing at, like, 100fps, lol.

I'm not buying this game just because of the simple fact that im tired of playing WoW inspired MMOs. Tank, healer, 3 dps, instances, level grinding etc etc. I feel like i did the same thing with Rift not too long ago, and various other MMOs. (not to mention wow and all the expansions)

The same people are playing it too, the same nerdy elitist douchebags who are gonna stick 30 hours a week into the game and whine about noobs the whole time.

Bacon, few questions:

Can you roll Repub and Sith on the same server? I remember you couldn't until like Wrath in WoW... wondering if it's the same in SWtOR or if you can doubleside right away.

What guild are you in on repub side? I'll join up with ya when I check out "The other side."

on agris eu-rp server you can, dunno about pvp / rp-pvp ones

You can roll both on the same server. I decided to put my Sith on a different PVE server, though, because I'm not sure how much I'm gonna enjoy the open PVP on Daragon Trail once I start hitting mixed planets. It'll make it more exciting I guess but I will not be all geared-out like these MMO nerds who act like the game is more important than real life =P When I picked Daragon Trail I thought it meant that PVP was optional while PVE servers didn't have it at all, but I later read that they have PVP on PVE servers, you just have to opt in... that would have been my preference. Oh well... not that big of a deal... something tells me I'll get ganked and griefed a few times but it won't be game-ruining.

What's the server name anyhoo? I'm not sure my Captain Picard troll alt will be welcome there

Also when I get back I'll try out the American servers and see if the lag is bearable or not. If it is I shall endeavour to join Porkchop on his non-halal adventures.
