FFS Raum yes we know you have an old computer, you can't expect new games to be developed for old hardware! They don't make Sega Megadrive games anymore but I don't bitch about it.
If new games didn't make use of new hardware then there would be less drive to create new hardware and thus slowing the progress of technology and furthering us from the great sci-fi achievements we dream about.
Is that really what you want? Do you want to crush Caddi's dream of having a holodeck in his parent's attic?

thats puzzling me too, I wonder why just the two? XP is kinda old (but most people like me still have it, so I gues thats kinda reasonable) and vistas crap (as we all know). Should be from windows XP-7...then again thats just mek10xbai wrote:QUOTE (k10xbai @ Aug 15 2011, 12:56 AM) no Windows 7? OO"

The footage is amazing, but I don't think it is even close to becoming a game. None of the game aspects seems to have been worked on besides the graphics (except by the community.. ..)
Those computer specs are from before win7 was released. I don't know how close they would be in the final engine, but they are probably made with computers from 4 years ago in mind.

QUOTE You can play as a merchant, trade, mine ore from asteroids or minerals on planets, explore the galaxy, do scientific research, create your own industrial corporation, or, if you are more into action, play as a pirate … at your own risk.[/quote]

Erm ... so ... after a good night of sleep, a hard day of work and a hearty meal I return to Infinity
just to find out my "corporation" has been brought down by a bunch of no-lives because my "evolving"
character got himself podded at the first chance?

Im shure you can put up some kinda defence grid maybe...the description given on the site is very broad. I'm just sayin that they most likely already thought of this and many other things (when it comes to basic gameplay) and came up with some sort of solution that we cannot be entirely shure of untill the game comes out (if ever).GoodWill wrote:QUOTE (GoodWill @ Aug 16 2011, 07:48 AM) Erm ... so ... after a good night of sleep, a hard day of work and a hearty meal I return to Infinity
