It doesn’t necessarily scare players off. Some players are just casual players who like a beer and a game or 2 and some are on the pool team. That happens in many walks of life. Mainly in pubs and involving pool tables and beer.

To most it's a recreational playground where they hang out and relax. It's just a game and a meeting place all in one but BYOB because virtual beer won't get you drunk.

They change the rules to pool every year in england because ,.... because they just do. I don't care why anyway. I just like playing and having a good laugh.

Maybe people just aren’t into spaceships like they used to be. Maybe that's why the player base is not going up. Maybe it's as simple as a fashion trend.

Let's face it spaceships ain’t as popular as they used to be but being a load of crap is. I'm quite happy to do a crap, but I don't want to be one, was one of the few things that Harry the cow tried to desperately communicate telepathically to the abattoir owner before his life was cut into steaks and served up with potatoes, gravy and some salad. Possibly a bit of cheese too.

Anyway, time for another beer.
