Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.

Hi ob1.

Can't afford to play anymore. Depends and dentures don't buy themselves you know.
Pico's artificial hip means he can't sit for extended periods.
BV is lucid a lot of the time, but the incidents are becoming more frequent.
BEER is a sherrif now, so while we still love him, we know he is never off duty.
Jimmy quit, Jodie got married.
NakPPI is working on an ulcer and a college fund for the kids.
Phrase was last seen hunting sharks with a five iron off of the Gulf Coast.
Bacon grew his hair and opened an ashram in Southern California. He's one of those funky older guys with a grey goatee and pony tail that chicks dig.
I visit Ahaneon and Lakeland whenever I can. The staff appreciate help with feeding oatmeal and wiping chins.
Veggie & Hud can often be seen sucking on chilli dogs outside the Tastee Freez.
spidey told Weedman & ugli that we needed aluminium for the war effort. They're building a Spitfire a week between them out of Pabst Blue Ribbon cans.

I'll write some more later, the old joints ain't what they used to be.
Those who make peaceful revolution impossible, will make violent revolution inevitable. John F. Kennedy.

It's a shame that us old timers...in spite of conditions, still make more sense than the youngsters.

I was not referring to being lucid, but to running away from newcomers. No wonder the player base is sucking.
