meh, it takes a long time to change them now, I just check every month or so. Also, you don't over anywhere near the features of fwiffo's site.

The app works for me. Your core idea is kind of neat, but some of your gui elements are awkward (buttons?). I'm thinking that this functionality would do better as a web-based applet or AJAX app rather than a stand-alone downloadable java application.

I'm also a little perplexed by your freeroam website, but I'm wagering other people have chimed in on this, so pick your favorite complaint and just insert below:

I downloaded this app and have tried it. On the whole this looks like some pretty skin put on the leaderboard data and the spathiwa output. I can't see any new calcualtion or new data source being used in this work. Am I mistaken?

You've done decent work on the skin, it looks nice. You could make the spathiwa output load with the rest of the information, which would be nice.

So far you are not showing any figure that isn't already available. The sum of your improvement so far is in putting everything in a pretty skin. Is that correct? If so this is, for me, not a valuble app so far.

Personally there are some things in alleg that I would like to see enumerated. Are you planning on incorporating additional sources of data? is this doable?

Anyway, thanks for the app, it's certainly nicer-looking than the leaderboard or spathiwa. So far that's all it is, but are there improvements planned?

Ack! Seriously, don't come into a place, attempt to "improve it" without getting to know it, and for God's sake, don't make yourself look like you are trying to nab claim for the place.

this is what happens when someone takes initiative and tries to do sth good or bad. So ignore the flamers.

Once I started to write something like Fwiffo's spathiwa.com which was planned to include more stats, monthly leaderboards, achievements etc.. etc..

But there are a few shortcomings

- You are limited to work on the 3rd party data on the leaderboard (you have to get all updates of it constantly).
- You can not fully integrate your app to the alleg without approvement and you have to suffer lots of flaming if you even if you are approved

I have a copy of Fwiffo's database, but it includes full leaderboard for each update which results in a lot of rows and increases processing time. I have my own database which gets updated differentialy. But it's still not the real AS database.

I think if the community wants a real displayed stats improvement it can be done with a team of volunteers who should have access to real leaderboard data. So that everyone can have their own stats page, achievements, monthly leaderboard ranks for real. I know that this is one of Baker's ideas when he started AS and it seems that there are some people like me who would like to help to implement this. I think we can make this for real if we are given the oportunity to do so.

Otherwise all our efforts will be limited to be for personal use like mine.
