Are you kidding?
I get to watch others flame Weylin and not have any responsibility to do anything about it!

Surely you could make it even funnier with some stealth edits.
IMO

Compare to, say, interceptors vs hvy interceptors
expansion + ints, circa £20k
expansion + ints + upgrade exp + hvy ints, circa £60k
(At work so I don't have ICE, feel free to correct my rough figures)
I'd argue the gulf between adv & hvy scouts is arguably bigger than between ints and hvy ints, so the price differential should be bigger too. This is neatly achieved by moving adv scouts to garrison. If people think it's too powerful to have adv scouts off-the-bat, then make it a requirement to have a techbase too (hey, this would be a slight nerf to bios too, which some people think it needs).
OFC I am biased as I love flying scouts but I think the argument has a good reasonable basis.
I don't think it has ever made it past "the committee" and thus not voted on tough.

I actually like this. Perhaps nerf the scan range of Adv. scouts a bit to stop it being considered OP in the garrison...
But no-one really complains about Bios Advanced scouts being available 10 minutes in (they complain about other stuff), so I can't see it being too much of an issue.

I don't understand why you're bringing up my commanding record in relation to a discussion about scouts? Oh, I know, it's because you wanna draw attention away from I'M A SCOUT WHORE, BITCH

The major problem with early adv scouts is that their obscene scanrange is basically a big "$#@! you" to SFs. The reason nobody complains about Bios adv scouts is because going tac against Bios is a terrible idea even before the adv scouts come up.

Edit: Used the wrong icon.
mea culpa. Must apologise to Jimen the reason was that randomly the only scout, adv scout and heavy scout I all checked were the Belters version which have higher sig, belter hvy scout sig being same as Giga's Lxy Scout. Curse you belters you have foiled me again!

Yeah. Probably fair comment. I still like the idea though - maybe with a nerf to the scan range of Adv. scouts to be somewhere in-betwen Regular and Heavy, to stop them being OP versus tac...
