Mostly true lol. But Spidey also does things most comms don't. Like telling his miner O exactly where the enemy is mining, down to the rock. That is enormously helpful if you are out of base in an int and can't see anything. Its almost impossible (and extremely frustrating) to get your average pug comm to tell you where the enemy miners are. Its the difference between spending 30s sitting in base finding them yourself and spending 30s boosting to a miner for the kill.Koln wrote:QUOTE (Koln @ Apr 14 2010, 07:59 AM) From my little experience on SysX TS (after the SW core mutliteamer SG) i thought it just consisted of spidey talking above fufi's incomprehensible chatter all the way.

I stfu when PsycH starts talking because it's normally "Guess what I put in the blender today, Syc?"
Other than that, I hate using TS unless it's in a completely seperate, protected channel away from Jimmy and Cable

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.
