Rackspace is primarily located in Texas. TE is in Canada. That's not going to work well when he has to get to the data center at midnight to work his magic like he did yesterday. Although the data center should have known the PDU had gone down.
Anyhow, Rackspace is very expensive. They won't really even talk to you unless you're willing to part with at least $1,000 per month. They are just as bad as Level3.

So I got an email from the lead tech at my datacentre.
In addition to the PDU blowing, there was a faulty sensor attached to it which is why their equipment didn't detect the problem.
They've replaced it too.
