Bacons real design already does.
Although it is far from being finished, I think it should be considered as it has the potential to be a lot better than the old bacon page or mine.

Is it too late to alter the asgs poll so it mentions that the links are on the news page. I went forum searching for links which took about 20 minutes of pagenumber-smacking to locate and be sure I was clicking the most up-to-date url.

Bacon's page puts more information readily accessible on the screen, but I prefer the content of AEM's text and videos more. The sp4wn/dorjan fusion page has a much better header design as well as the accessible content. One issue I have with it is that the links section on the right uses some of the section titles as links and/or redundant links.

Sweet, we've now officially surpassed the 1 megabyte mark with that background image! A blazing fast 2 second load time. (versus 500ms of the original)

TE didn't even include Sp4wn's version of the page, which has a few flaws (mainly the background image problem, which I attempted to solve with a decent tiled background but was criticized), but it had every right to be included in the selection process. Really says something since Dorjan, one of Sp4wn's buds (I thought), has decided to take several good ideas (Including Sp4wn's) and make a new one.
