Oh and was Slipshod commander or Xason?

Better luck next time SRM.
Various people seem to think it was Xason (On both sides). For some reason the Scores records slipshod as commander.

Bouwman wrote:QUOTE (Bouwman @ Feb 8 2010, 03:30 AM) but since GB were having somebody Observe, I decided to observe the first 25 mins of the game. Of course, as soon as I joined I was on attack wing..................
I look for our OP con... it's high with 2 scouts and a fig boosting after it. I sent it home with great despirate to let it live, as all our ints were stranded low... and watched the OP con die 3k from our garr to 2 scouts and 1 fig....
(trimmed for readibility).

I just reread bouwman's post, and noticed this.

If your observing Bouw - you really shouldn't be ordering Cons about.

Nope - that was later in the game. I doubt very much the OP con lived past your EXP and low tele (even though I'm not quite sure when the OP COn dies)

clips from the log.

Bouwman joined around the time our tele planted low next to your home about 20 minutes into the game. Which was much later than your OP con died.

Edit: I really think this is a minor thing and doesn't bother me immensely. I hope bouwman misspoke in his post earlier. I just found the post funny that he appeared to incriminate himself. No drama intended or meant. :iluv: SRM

Wasn't there, but GG @GB. You guys taught us a lesson and we appreciate the game. I haven't read this thread in entirety, but if any are acting like idiots (will read thread later) then I shall bitch them into submission.

lol sorry if I pissed u guys off in saying that u guys didn't even know why u won.

I only read one overview of the game, and that's the first post by NJ...
I read this:
2.We see their TP Low, but no OP Con? and a number of ints so we plant TP short.

That's the only evidence I got from u killing our opening op con. Losing your opening OP on Star, really really really hurts.... especially if ur IC and have no other base to launch from after losing it but ur Garr. We build TP low, and somehow all our miners rip to the TP low, and since again we have no base to launch from from low, we lose all our miners but one.

Lex... I have endless respect for Xason (OUR COMMANDAH!) he admitted he lost us the SG, and me being the backseater observing... saw all his mistakes lose us the game. If you're looking for a gg from me, then gg......

Zruty... Have u ever played PUG's where your comm loses you the game? lol, we lost our expansion, and we lost our economy due to mistakes on our parts, and you guys capitlizing on our mistakes. The lesson here is, don't make mistakes... that's the way the SG went... and now u guys are forcing it upon us that u guys taught us a lesson? IDC, what u think, I'm just saying it how it is from SRM's point of view.... Do I need to repeat myself, what our comms mistakes did? Get a grip man.

And sorry but I didn't know you couldn't order cons around while observing.

Edit: Sorry for breaking the harsh news, but the truth is the truth, that the truth is the truth.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say SRM is the best squad at gaffes!

OK, OK, I hereby agree with everything Bouwman said, and may ever say in the future, about that game.

I'm completely annihilated by his arguments, and admit that he is superior not only in 'backseat observing', but also in the fine art of rhetorics.
