What exactly does Allegiance gain out of this? Is it safe to assume by Profit you mean Allegiance gets paid a sum of money?

It gets players. Also, by the look of the votes and comments, it seems like we get a bunch of 10s, and then someone votes a 1 because some vet was being an ass, and we get dragged down again. We really need to fix our attitude.

If it's any consolation, from what I've played, you guys rock ^_^ I'll be a long-term player for sure!

It's not so much that people here are sad about the attitudes. Everyone who plays is generally fine. However, this community has long been embattled in the Carebear Wars. There is one half of the community who wants to see the attitudes and booting that scare away newbies toned down, and then there is the other half that says they don't want people who can't take the attitude, or they don't want bigger games. Every half-a-year or so, this long fight starts up again, with someone getting banned, or someone making an "I'M LEAVING" rant.

You've probably noticed by now that I'm a carebear (looks at @Help tag). I find it simply depressing that we have people leaving because they are being booted, or they are being yelled at, or they simply aren't being helped.

Did SF have a vote on Striker's response and Dorjam suggested the winning option?
