Your miner disco was a pretty good tactic to tie us up, but like all good tactics, they are usually made a necessity rather than an option.
How annoyingly critical is tele placement as IC? Almost as bad as op placement for GT as far as miner travel routes are concerned.
I wouldnt stay too cut up about it, rather I reckon Kev will be a better comm for that game.
What a different game it would have been if SRM had lost the exp..but then thats the beauty of Squadgames and why they are soooo much more desirable than PUG's. Why we couldnt have done that in our game against XT.....

If our miners had docked at the outpost like they were supposed to all of it would have been different. Doh.

How do you ram a miner that has collision avoidance?

When they're already avoiding something they are often sideward and wont evade anything for a short period. At that point a good ram will put it inside the base.

Only on the final final dive.

Come to think of it... I guess it was a hard enough mistake to lose one miner from ripping home from right... but a second miner ripped like 10-30 secs later, after our squad was finishing off the first. Shirley you guys could of stopped the second miner from ripping, after you guys realized your mistake in accidently letting the first miner rip. Or did both miners get to there HE rocks at the same time, and rip at the same time..

By being pretty quick. I do it with TF miners all the time, when there's a furball at base I just hit the light booster and ram it into the base when it's trying to line up.
