I was so frustrated at that point I almost welcomed it
I ran out of energy or hunters (don't remember which) having tagged the scout twice. He was so close to dying that a loud voice would have breached his hull. I had to push the envelope a little too much, and payed the price. You let me tag along* and eye you almost all the rest of the way btw.

Tuff game, but AC2 against Dreggy Ints is painful. I agree we shouldn't have bough so many cons and instead just got Adv Tech, but otherwise...it was okay.
A notable moment of consternation for myself is when we bombed the Tac AGAIN with Adept driving, for some reason the aleph $#@!ed us over and we all entered a spin of death. The nans came out 600m away from the bomber and closing the distance was extremely difficult, leading to the bomber's death...which sucked. I think we could've gotten the Tac that run, we had the nannage.

!!! I had forgotten about that!
Remember the old style spin of death on capships people? I got a roll on the bomber that took something like 15 sec to sort out, and the aleph also spat me out, at speed, and at a high angle! That was... maddening!!!
In the confusion I got killed before the nans could catch up. That was the best run too. Little warning, Crono pushing with mad skill in his int and a good cloud of nans. Argh

Striker wrote:QUOTE (Striker @ Jun 15 2009, 11:57 AM) The problem with Jaybird is that we know all of his tricks. We were constantly checking his location before plowing through alephs and waiting for him to finish emptying his prox loads. hehe
It was definitely a game for the record books. We do recognize what we did right and wrong in this game. I think it may go different next time.
Not all my tricks there striker, I reminded the team that SF is well aware of my bag o tricks, and changed a few things to bag 20 kills, 18 assists, and 500 some points, all the while not suffering triple digit pod rides.

You still had 28 ejects! The old timers knew you tricks, but the newer guys don't. Even the returning people forgot. Guess it's time to educate them all again. Still, we can't predict all your moves.

Once or twice I had people helping me, but most of those were "Oh, look, a miner!" solo runs.
There was a miner Koc and I should've had, and another con I should've had, but the con wouldn't have made any distinct difference in the game. Homerip for exp? Oh well.
