Is it possible to require a minimum post count to include hyperlinks in PM's? Even better would probably be to limit the amount of PM's which can be sent within a certain time period.

Is this usually a problem for this forum? I've not been here long and already two spam messages...

Never had any problems in the past with PM spam here. I recall a couple times in the several years I've been here seeing a spam forum post but they are quickly deleted. I'm sure the admins will get this fixed ASAP so the spambots can't keep spamming.

Did our private message facility get disabled as a result of this event? The IPBoard won't even let me attempt to view any private messages telling me "You are not allowed to use the messenger feature on this board".

You now require 10 posts to be able to send/receive PMs.

MiGNUliks? Sounds like open-sourse nerdcore! LOL
On the pm thing I set CAPTCHA for people with a certain post count for a forum I am setting up. I may have it permanent for all guests hopefully.

I remember another forum that dealt with spam bots using Captcha, but they demanded the phrase to be manually reorderd by the user as it was typed in.
