What if they were DANGEROUS asteroids? They're notorious for eating TP2 and podding noobs...phoenix1 wrote:QUOTE (phoenix1 @ Mar 24 2009, 09:26 AM) But PUGs, far too often I'm sitting around and I need to do everything, I need to drive the bomber, fly the entire nan train, fly the scout going in front to deprobe, fly the ramming interceptor from behind, and man both turrets, because despite the fact that the commander has yelled for thirty minutes to get on the bomb run, no one's bothering as they're too busy DMing vs asteroids in our back sectors.

Don't forget to add that the pilots that are trying and are in the right place at the right time are always the first to get booted by the countless voob commanders we have in PuGs!phoenix1 wrote:QUOTE (phoenix1 @ Mar 24 2009, 02:26 AM) But PUGs, far too often I'm sitting around and I need to do everything, I need to drive the bomber, fly the entire nan train, fly the scout going in front to deprobe, fly the ramming interceptor from behind, and man both turrets, because despite the fact that the commander has yelled for thirty minutes to get on the bomb run, no one's bothering as they're too busy DMing vs asteroids in our back sectors.
It wasn't a troll, you actually suck at the game and therefore should not be antistacking, because its impossible to antistack if you suck.cowtown wrote:QUOTE (cowtown @ Mar 24 2009, 05:29 AM) (nice attempt at a troll...at that your are the noob)

As someone who pretty much does the same thing I am curious if you are seeing the same trend I have been seeing. The distribution of top notch pilots (whether their rank is 12 or 24) is pretty decent these days. I am finding that its the imbalance in the new player distribution, voobs, and the competent solid but not game changing players that determine what the "real stack" is.guitarism wrote:QUOTE (guitarism @ Mar 23 2009, 09:24 AM) Your assuming we stack because we think a team is going to win via it's rank/helo crap.
LIES
I join teams because I know who is playing. If it just so happens that they are all high rank, because they all happen to be COMPETENT whose fault is that? Mine for wanting to play with people who don't need help finding their own ass?

The only exception to this is when you're Belters, because people must launch useless ships and belters figs can carry nans. So most people just sit in base when you need the one nan, leaving me flummoxed as to why they joined the game in the first place.guitarism wrote:QUOTE (guitarism @ Mar 24 2009, 11:15 AM) I've noticed that the team-work is heavily influenced by how many idiotic voobs are on your team. You can have 3 or 4 great players with you, but all their work is offset by the 6 or 7 other mindless fools on the team flying in circles, all launching in figs when you need JUST ONE NAN etc.
