Why would we? I'd prefer a torrent of a 7z that contains all the base directories.

For example,

Code: Select all

CD1:/textures/a
CD1:/models/a
CD2:/textures/b
CD2:/models/b
becomes an archive containing

Code: Select all

/textures/a
/textures/b
/models/a
/models/b
That way, you can torrent and then extract whatever you're interested in without having to unpack the whole thing first.

PS: Awesome, repete, awesome! :) And thanks for the work on this, Ada.

At this point why zip at all? Do not zip, let me download only what I need/want :)

you don't seriously intend to use torrents for legal purposes?! 0.o

I assume this is a tempoary measure until they are put up on a server for download (for those who can't torrent)

Because much of this stuff is probably pretty well compressable and 50% of 32CDs is quite a lot.

Pickup some Everclear from the liquor store that will take it right off, be careful to only get it on the plastic side I dont know how the foil holds up to Everclear
