ASGClient.exe? You're missing a letter there.

I can't still get to my complimentary sarcastic remark :(

EDIT: Grimm, we're then using the same version (use "aptitude show wine").

Onion wants to test dx9 version of allegiance, where does onion sign up? :(

more importantly, does it work properly with new nvidia drivers? (60fps instead of 8fps on 8800GT anyone?)
[this discussion should probably be in another thread]

back on topic, badp got exactly the same message as me.

grim, if your willing to do more testing, could you run it in the terminal and try the training missions, then give us the text from the terminal?

as to which version, see here for up to date(ish) repositry adding.

it installed 0.9.59 when i did it, which is a version behind but it shouldn't make a difference and might have been updated by now.

Sound error is OK, because I own a freaking XFi, that does not work in linux and I messed up the system by attempting to use OSS:.. :(

I installed 0.9.60 but it did not change a thing.
I noticed another difference between the dx9 and the gold build: while the fonts show in the DX9, one cannot get online, because it fails to connect to the motd or au.

thanks grimm.

The crash seems to be the same as ours, so its got nothing to do with d3d7. Good to see the other errors are gone (they have "fixme:d3d_texture:IWineD3DBaseTextureImpl_GenerateMipSubLevels (0x7b241ad0) : stub" in their place though, didn't know alleg used mipmapping)

The "fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x7f21ef48,0x00000000), stub!" is on mine too.

The lines before that are odd... a quick google suggests they occur in 16 bit programs with a newer linux kernal version, and if they occur with a 32 bit program, it isn't good...
apparently for some systems they can turn up for all programs, and are completely harmless to the running of the program.

but it looks like the crash wasn't their fault, so now the important thing is finding out what causes that page fault error.

EDIT: strange that the online broke. i don't know what could cause that, but i think that is secondary to getting past that page fault.
