just a little FYI: ogorass wasn't trying to be snarky or harsh with regards to his comment about posts disappearing. First, English isn't his native language and you have to grant some allowance in how things are expressed in such cases. Secondly (and to the point), since this is a helpline area, we don't want incorrect or misleading posts in here as they are counter-productive to our purpose. We may choose to edit/delete/mangle such posts precisely because they can be harmful or just plain frustrating to someone who is already frustrated. Feel free to post when you think you can be helpful... just be aware that your posts are subject to factual review. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

What I don't like is the fact that some one has easly dicreditted 3 years with computer tech classes, and my own PERSONAL experince with games, like it was nothing, please. as i said before, never, discredit what anyone sayed. just give it a try I SAID my self that it may or may not work =)

but if you really want to be that way, I guess it fine, but to some people ( like me) the rumors saying that many mods act like children are start to prove true, please prove them wrong.....

I don't know you. I've never met you and I have no idea what classes did you take for how long and what your PERSONAL expierience with games is. In such situation, I couldn't discredit any of those things, could I? Only thing I have discredited was incorrect information you provided.
QUOTE please. as i said before, never, discredit what anyone sayed. just give it a try I SAID my self that it may or may not work =)
I will discredit what some people say sometimes, as it is required in some situations.
QUOTE but if you really want to be that way, I guess it fine, but to some people ( like me) the rumors saying that many mods act like children are start to prove true, please prove them wrong.....
You might have noticed, that none of the mods used any of his powers in this thread. My posts may have seemed a tad bitchy, but I was trying to help this guy while at work and replying to your incorrect posts really didn't help. I would hardly call that childish behaviour...

@FreeB: yah, my English does need some polishing /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Normally I'd reply via PM for this, but there's value in making it public, I think.

Ogo, your English is just fine. This particular medium isn't exactly conducive to conveying all the nuance and idiom that you might want to convey in person. To do so would require not only a mastery of the written language, but the time to craft it all. That's why professional writers get paid - and even they make significant mistakes in the process.

I've never had a problem reading any of your posts (well, except for maybe those written under the influence of your native drink /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />). Your posts are concise, accurate, and very helpful. Don't worry about something as trivial as minor grammatical errors. The rest of the internet doesn't. /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />

Nothing that has anything to do with being able to play Allegiance.

Your hijackThis report looks OK. I have a question though: on what kind of internet connection are you?

Here's some info:

Using port forwarding will break R4 in most cases due to the random ports it uses. The router will catch some of these and chaos ensues.

P.S : Computer classes mean @#(!. Who learns anything in classes? Your previous experiences with games? Doesn't apply here - Allegiance is unlike any other game.

Kindly stop spamming this thread and telling us how to do what we've been doing for more than 5 years.

DNA is a microsoft program that breaks down incoming packets it SAPPOSE to speed DL speed but it don't.(he asked what it was XD)

anyways he a question are you using a multibus lan card? mabe it the packets mabe it your ATT (adaptive transmit threshold) if it multibus it has to be 200 if not it 12

do you have a PCI lan card? mabe you have to enable PCI Bus Efficiency, if it not on it might cause errors with the alleg packets,

There just so many possablitys i'm just trying to HELP narrow them

oh didn't his report say DSL?
