It's Democracy in action, player's right, freedom to be you. All the things people agitate about all the time. This is actually one of those times your wishes come true all around. How so MrChaos? Glad you asked.
Remember: It requires TWO squad games with FIFTEEN people per side for them to become a squad
See this is a wonder oppurtunity for everyone at both the squad and player level to exercise their right to count in this matter by simply voting with their feet.... Think about it.
Like the old saying goes " Feets Dont Fails Me Nows "
MrChaos <--- won't be posting any cat pics this time
Hes old and smelly... dont mind him
Once formed, a squad is expected to play
three Squad Games against any other Squad for full recognition.
For these games to count, both sides need to have
ten or more players.
Naturally it is then expected that a squad will continue to play regular squad games and participate in squad events.

Cadet first dude, one step at a time.

Beez, you dont' know how much pain your just saved yourself. Your newbie squad, even if it did get formed, would get WTFPWNBBQSAUCEd SOOOO bad if any one of you didn't know what you're doing.
Seriously it ain't pretty, nor would it exactly be fun for the other team rolling over you. You have no idea what a squad game is like until you play one. Watching one only gives you an idea but it doesn't cover what goes on. And even then, some of us who got recruited don't even know what to do until the 7th time around. It's nothing like a pickup game.

Xerxes: Come Leonidas, let us reason together. It would be a regrettable waste. It would be nothing short of madness for you, brave king, and your valiant troops to perish. All because of a simple misunderstanding. There is much our cultures could share.
King Leonidas: Haven't you noticed? We've been sharing our culture with you all morning.
Xerxes: But I am a generous god. I can make you rich beyond all measure. I can make you warlord of all Greece. You will carry my battle standard to the heart of Europa. Your Athenian rivals will kneel at your feet... if you will but kneel at mine.
King Leonidas: You are generous as you are divine, O king of kings. Such an offer only a madman would refuse. But the idea of kneeling... you see, slaughtering all those men of yours has left a nasty cramp in my leg, so kneeling is going to be hard for me.
THIS IS SPARTA!!!

If you do form a new squad, comprised of only newbies. Expect to get owned practically every SG for the first year after its inception.
It's not pretty and it takes a lot of dedication of its members to get through this period. Quite a few of my @RT squad mates know the tough times we were in that day.
