Found a history with a few errors, but not really a detailed accounting of the people behind Allegiance.

Not EXTREMELY detailed, and not easy to find, but it's there. There's also a shorter version of this that gets posted in every Cadet session.

I hope you corrected them, I guess you have mod rights there. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Back in the day there were episodes when the zone (both FZ and AZ, but I'm an FZer) would go down for extended periods of time and nobody could play Allegiance. After eventually lasting for days I remember going to the zone's Allegiance chat during such an outage and begging some TC_ guys to try playing with me using SOVRoute. Although I was certain it should work actually seeing Allegiance run while the zone was down continues to remain one of my most pleasant memories.

Please keep Allegiance running and when you see SOV_VenCain join don't mind the fact he's already at least a six pack into it, doesn't have his antique WingMan joystick setup correctly and has no recollection whatsoever as to what keys to press. Look at it this way: you have an excuse if/when you lose... :( That said, I didn't always suck.

I specifically thank Spunky, Thalgor, Pook, KGJV and YP and everyone still playing Allegiance for having the goal of keeping it alive. Unless, of course, you are Black, Guns22 or Virus in which case I cordially invite you to burn in hell.

Are you still in Antarctica?

BACK IN MY DAY WE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE IPs. WE PLAYED WITH WOOD CARVINGS AND NAILS. NAILS THAT WERE DRIVEN INTO YOUR HANDS IF YOU GOT PODDED.
