I enjoyed flying late-night games with you, Andy. I'm sorry to hear about the bad news but I hope it turns out to be a relatively tame case going forward. I don't think avoiding stress is a major part of Crohn's therapy, and certainly not acute stressors like Allegiance.
Avoiding stressful life situations like financial or family stress can worsen symptoms, but it's a lot more related to diseases like Irritable Bowel Disease than it is with Crohn's, and certainly not with ulcerative colitis. Personally, I wouldn't make my own patients retire from video games. They can be seen as a stress reliever just as well.
As Brood says, Remicade is about as good as it gets in medications (and it's my fav because of the name), though if you were recently diagnosed with Crohn's, I doubt you'll need it right away.

Congrats on the brown crap, mesial!

Reading lots and lots of information on the net often scares people who can't discern facts and who don't have a perspective on things.
