Deschain@PK seems never mentioned. He was on top of the anti-stack board for a good while too. It burned him out in the end though - he now plays SGs only.

Gandalf2 wrote:QUOTE (Gandalf2 @ Feb 1 2008, 05:11 PM) It's not the losing helo that worries me, of course not, it's the pointlessness of playing a game which is basically over already with 0% chance of winning. This happens especially when you have so many newbies on the team, it is impossible to pass a resign vote, and the other team just toy with the enemy and wait for battleships to destroy mk1 tech, things like that.
I didn't mean to imply that fear of helo loss was your motivation. I was just saying that it doesn't bug me to join a doomed game. You miss out on some of the best comebacks otherwise! (Of course sometimes I help drag a game out a little longer...) I understand what you are saying, and you've got the Quackers and Cheese Seal of Approval. Because it's well known that this game is more enjoyable with my approval.
Oh, and: I was comming tonight, and finisher was flying against me. My head almost imploded.

There is a difference between Anti-Stacker and Non-Stackers, i just join based off if the faction, or if i know someone really well on one of the teams /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />
Still, SheffWill takes my vote, /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />

xPhoenix and Sheff get my vote .. they seem to try to anti stack in most games they join. I tend to pick a comm to fly for/against :-) , rather than the team/faction, no matter what the helo ..

QUOTE I wish there were a way from NOAT to determine the difference between an end-of-game stack and a mid-game stack, to help decide whether to log off or join the underdogs.[/quote]
There was an idea thrown in about a year ago in which there was a way of seeing (by smileys in the GC column) what was the the team balance at the time of the player entering the foray.
