a) 10 mbps through University network. Over the summer packet inspection was off, Alleg lag around 25-60. Now that inspection is on again, lag is about 500. The other night I got a download temporarily registering 1.9 MB/s, which I'm not sure is even technically possible. Usually in the hundred's of KB.
Whatever wireless the local coffee shops are sporting. 50-200 lag, depending on how many yokels are busy pirating music.

uhhh, more like you ripping off cable with a splitter. I know not a cable company charge 15$ for even basic cable let alone cable and highspeed internet. Where do you live? The Phillipines? /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />
10 mb ethernet at uni
speed test says:
Downstream 6,482.5 Kbps ( = 6.3 Mbps )
Upstream 367.5 Kbps ( = 0.4 Mbps )

Do you even play with that?
I thought my 160 lag was bad but wow. /wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />

That's funny... using the same link (in the UK, so it must bounce around North America first before it gets it feet wet) my upstream was 385.4. /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />
