MoGas more or less got it but since you are quoting me I'll elaborate.
I am saying it is okay if the target is appropriate and it is done appropriately. We are all adults, this does not have to be a 'g'-rate care bear game (or forum) where everything in sanitized. 'Smack talk' has its place. This is not a kinder garden play ground. For some specific individuals there might be a fine line that is sometimes crossed but for the MASS majority a little bit of common sense suffices.
Most people know when they are being a #$%@ but do it anyway and then brag about it.

"Shut up man, we need someone to go probe *insert waypoint command here*" is acceptable.
Like has been mentioned. By the time you're 5 you know when you're doing something wrong, it shouldn't have to be spelled out with every single possible contingency.
If someone says "Don't be a dick" EVERYONE in this community knows what they mean. it's not rocket science.
