I was boosting to a base at top speed to GALV, I used vector locking and aimed the vector "SIDING" the base as usual, when I was like 150 from the base, I lagged and the vector appeared somehow AT the base, with the consecuential BASE RAM... I got a lot of PMs from both sides in that event.

Here I am in a squad of 5 destroying teleports, really putting an effort in for the team, finally appreciating the beauty of Alleg.
Suddenly there is an order for all units to attack ...etc..etc... my lightning speed little finger hits insert. 10 seconds later I am in a nooby state of terror blindly firing at whatever I look onto, desperatly tryinig to get my green circle of death. Obviously the other team finds it halarious to see a fighter trying to destroy their ints with a galv and 2 blasters, and some merryment in global chat ensues (check out mm taking on our Sup with a galv). Hot headed TL gets the wrong end of the stick and is an instant boot.
Some of the TL I have served under are great, but seriously, some people need to learn to keep a cool head and not boot for every tiny little lapse of judgement a noob faces. Man I wish I was 0 again.
OMG... You need to come to SYSX. Your obviously pretty smart. Just need some more experience. You have a grasp of the reality of small game com frustrations.
PS SORRY FOR THE BOOT.... only kidding.

My funniest personal moment was ranting about everyone not defending a base ..... I had just left my sup to probe when I saw the bomber I rushed back to my giga sup to dock from my scout and switch to a fighter I Apparently was getting some wierd screen issue where I thought I was hitting the green door and was actually bouncing off the side. By the time I realized it , I backed up a nudge and saw I was not on the green door. I made it in base I was so frustrated I relaunched back at the sup and couldnt dock again. I decided to rip and just as the rip counter hit and i showed up in secotr the garrison blew up. The bomber of course only had a sliver of hull. Had I docked successfully or even undocked from the right base... the garrsion would not have died. Meanwhile my whole team was there but me all podded.

Man that's an old one, still one of my best memories.
If you cant figure it out, we did a pair of TP2 drops and I was distracted by something when our com announced the real target (a gar, the run failed, if I remember right no one got anywhere close to hiting it.)
